Poetry Submission Guidelines
Submit all poems together in one Word document attachment or in the body of the e-mail to wordletting@gmail.com with the subject heading “submission.” Include your name next to the title of each poem. 50-line maximum per poem. You can submit up to seven poems per submission cycle. We accept previously published and simultaneous submissions, but please let us know where the poem has been published or if it is accepted elsewhere.
Upon acceptance for publication, Wordletting has online and print reproduction rights. Author retains copyright. Accepted poems will appear in Wordletting’s online issue, our archived issues, and may be included in a future print version of the publication.
At this time, we cannot offer payment for poems selected for publication.
Because we receive many submissions, we are unable to reply to those that are not selected. If you have not heard back from us within four months from the date you submitted your poems, you can assume your work was not selected for publication.
Note: Although we accept poems of any style, we do not encourage the submission of rhyming poetry. Your poem will have a better chance of getting published if it is non-rhyming.
